This is a great point.
If I remember correctly one of the schools where one of these shootings took place had an armed guard at it and he was the first guy they shot.
Having armed police officers in schools isn't going to deter crazy people from doing crazy things.
This money would be better spent providing services for and helping to identify those who might carry out these crazy acts.
