I suppose an armed cop in a school is still less insane than armed teachers, and much less insane than armed students.
If they can implement guns that can ONLY be fired by the owner of the gun, that would make it much less insane.
With the technologies of today, you would think they could accomplish this pretty easily if they wanted to, but for some reason it doesn't happen.
The navy shooter shot a guard and then used the guard's gun to keep shooting.
An armed guard or cop in a school may seem reasonable (maybe in some districts), but when you realize the cop's gun is another weapon that has now entered the building, it may not be so sensible without locking the weapon's use to the cop, and ONLY the cop.
