maybe forum automatically converted it to link, anyway it made me click on it and go to the website. If it's a spam too bad for him becaus website returned "Server not found" error message.
If you really have issues, this is not a wordpress problem and don't try to fix it in options, unless you use multisite feature wordpress doesn't care if your website is www or non www. This is server issue not handling www and non www properly.
