During the days of the draft the standards were pretty low to begin with and during the Second World War...when we had sixteen million warm bodies in uniform...there were alot of criminals with felony records that received waivers. The same applied during the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Conflict. When the military needs warm bodies to fill the ranks they will do whatever is necessary to keep the ranks filled.
