About a year ago a guy opened a storefront SEO consulting company in our small town (pop. 51,000). Big, slick grandiose signage on the front of the building. It stuck out like a sore thumb downtown amongst the pizza joints, pawn shops and other junky retail stores.
I was tempted to wander in and see what services and price range the guy had...but never got around to it.
He closed up shop just 8 months after he opened.
It would've been interesting to find out why he closed. Did his services suck? Overpriced himself? Not enough population or interest to keep the business afloat?
