He was born and raised in the South and his whole family was Baptist so nobody knew where the hell he got it from. He also used to ride a bike 6 miles one way to my office, every single day that I worked, because he wanted to smell my hair. 
On the plus side, I've never known anyone with AS to hurt anyone. They're usually just really socially inappropriate and don't know when to stop. If you check around, he may be living with relatives or at least have some sort of case manager or therapist. Usually they have no idea that the person is doing this sort of thing and often times they're the only ones that can put a stop to it. And they won't be shocked to hear that it's going on.
But like I said, I may be completely wrong. I'm not trying to stick a label on him- it's just speculation.

I'm sure your very close to the truth, I think he suffers from some type of compulsive obsessive disorder (ever notice how he uses his name "Lawrence Conner Lawrence Conner Lawrence Conner ")
He is obsessed with his own name, I wouldn't look for any logic in his actions as there probably are none to be found.
He is funny in a twisted kind of way but I do feel sorry for him.
