Alfred Nobel (The man who started the Nobel prizes)

Was weapons manufacturer.

He invented dynamite, the torpedo, designed the American Civil War ironclad USS Monitor and made a fortune supplying the weapons used in the Crimean war. By the time of his death he had established more than 90 armaments factories. He also killed his brother while studying nitroglycerine.

When you know the past of the Nobel prize founder then it becomes pretty easy to see that Obama deserves it. After all Obama is earning it with honor and distinction in just the way Alfred Nobel would have wanted it.
