This has always been a confidence pool. Meaning that for the entire 9 years it hasn't changed, "that weight thing" has always been a part of it.
The weights are quite easy actually. 16 is the highest, 1 is the lowest. As you make your picks, just put the higher weights on games you feel confident about, and put the lower weights on games you feel less confident about. That's it. For example, if in tonight's game you feel very strongly that the Broncos will win (and cover whatever the spread is) then you might put a weight of 16. If you end up being right, you'll score 32 points (2 x weight for correct picks).
There's a stategy to it, and of course if your higher weighted picks are correct you can score a lot of points.
