Its not a surprise considering Nokia seemed to switch to the microsoft platform and worked with them.
But you have two problems.
1. Microsoft have been mobile for 20 or more years. I have had a windows ce machine years ago. It was ok, good for word processing and such. Also played mp3 files. But they never made a hit in the market.
Android and iphone are new yet made huge impacts. So I am not sure if they can re-invent themselves.
2. Nokia were business phones and trendy phones.
If I was Nokia I would be making pure bluetooth handsets that you can use with your big bulky smartphone. Ie rather than using a bluetooth headset or speaking direct into your smartphone, you use a slim, attractive nokia handset.
