Anyway, it's not about doctors visits. My preferred doctor does not accept any health insurance and I have continued to pay him $130/mo. out of pocket. It is about accidents, major illnesses, hospitalization and prescription benefits in case you ever develop something that requires a lifelong medication regimen.
But I guess if I thought people cannot easily get HIV (currently 1 out of every 287 people confirmed to have it in the US), Hep C or anything else, I'd probably be writing equally confusing statements.

actually people do not easily get HIV. the chance of me getting HIV are slim to none. other than contaminated blood transfusions HIV is a lifestyle issue... like lung cancer for the most part. to be honest about I would rather have HIV than lung cancer... the likely hood of surviving lung cancer are not good, the survival rate of HIV is what? 100% these days?
sooner or later you'll have to accept the fact that most people aren't gay, and actually have no interest in homosexuality, and start looking at the world with a more relative and honest, comprehensive view
