I invested around 2k in inventory for a new biz back in Dec. Since I have averaged $5k a month in ebay sales alone (not counting local sales) and sitting on an inventory well over 15X that initial investment (if I were to auction off rather than retail it out). I bought out one of my local competitors a week and a half ago that had been in business for 20+ years. I won't give specifics but attending auctions (online or off) and reselling would be a good starting point. The basics of business.. Buy low, sell high...
