fake predicitions
the Russians are obsessed with Vanga and have been creating "predictions" that she never said. None of these are anything she's ever said. She rarely gave "predictions" and it was only to people she considered close and they were always metaphoric.
In the 80s when I was a kid she said "Kursk will sink, and the whole world would mourn it". We had no idea what she was talking about, the Russians though she's talking about St Petersburg or some other city. Of course, Kursk is the submarine that sank with 300 Russian soldiers in it.
Here's what Vanga did say, in relation to Syria, it's from a book her niece wrote many years ago
"Humanity will live trough many cataclysms and many stormy events. The consciousness of people will change too. Tough times will come, people will segregate based on religion. The oldest teaching in the world will come. They ask me: "Will this time come soon?". No, it's not soon. Syria hasn't fallen yet."
I'm going by memory, but there was a Syrian journalist from Damascus who interviewed her in the 70s or 80s, and she told him a bunch of stuff. It was a very controversial article in Syria, but I can't remember if Assad's father was mad or what. I read about this years ago
My father's uncle, an atheist, visited Vanga many years ago. He wasn't an atheist after he left her house and to this day still talks about it, although reluctantly
