The only problem with porn going mainstream is that it removes the huge profits.
If they aren't already, everyone will be shooting porn in their homes soon, and posting it online. The supply of porn will continue to flood the market as it becomes more and more acceptable to be in porn and to admit that you watch porn.
It's comparable to liquor during prohibition, people who were still supplying it were making HUGE profits because people would pay rediculous prices just to get it because they knew you just can't get it anywhere, but once it's legalized there are suddenly waaay more suppliers and the huge profits dry up.
It's basic supply and demand, and the growth in supply continues to outpace the growth in demand.
