The point is again that EVERYONE has the Constitutional Right to vote. My point was that what Jackson said was dishonest. NO ONE is being prevented from voting. No one is being denied their Constitutional Rights. End of story.
That act - i don't care if it exists or not. From a rational/logical standpoint, its something that was basically affecting only certain states because of shit they were pulling 50 years ago and before. Not stuff that happens today. In fact, it was demonstrated by the DOJ records that it was unnecessary. If the Federal Government told Idaho they had to get any and all changes to any election process approved by the Federal Government today, they'd be told to fuck off. No other state, if told this today would accept it.
It was struck down because part of it was Unconstitutional and the court itself said it was not necessary today as it did not address any problems of today.
