I see it this way:
1. if you could send me 10 sales a day but choose not to then you're out about $1,000 a week. Not a huge amount but 50k a year is some people's full-time salaries.
2. If all you could send me is 10 sales a month then you're (relatively) small time and therefore could really use the money.
So either way not promoting my shit is, um, less than optimal.  |
Let's try clarify things this time around so you get what my point really is so you don't have to justify what your point is.
You are involved with *user* uploaded tubes. I don't wish to be involved with anyone involved with them. Whatever motivation I had to push your sites is gone now that we have established your involvement. And for the record, I run a small potatoes operation. So, you probably won't even notice my non-involvement with you. Kapeesh so far? Good.
Just because I am small potatoes compared to others around here, this doesn't mean I could really use the money. I like money and I like making money, but first and foremost, this is a hobby for me. Therefore, I have the luxury of dropping sponsors that do things I do not wholeheartedly or even remotely agree with. Many others simply don't have that luxury because this has evolved into a 9 to 5 job for them, some of whom are convinced that pushing every available sponsor on as many domains as possible is in their best interest.
And when some Numbnut says that dropping a particular sponsor is my ( financial ) loss, the irony around here becomes thick enough to cut with a knife. Someone suggests that Everyone including Fabio and Manwing could be making greater financial gains if Fabio and Manwing did Y instead of X and people around here start behaving like howler monkeys with PMS.
I sincerely mean it when I say, Good luck with your 5 year plan, Peabody. And don't fret about my well being. I'm not hurting myself in the least.
