I noticed that my Mac gets a little sluggish when I had a bazillion aps open, especially when I had a bunch of high res photos in Photoshop lasso'ed. Try closing programs or adding more ram. If you are running out of hard disk space consider getting a second drive and copying old stuff off of your internal HD to your external drive.

And get this : I bought it at the store, brand new. Turned it on at a nearby restaurant about 2 blocks away and the battery was fully charged. Found a wifi hotspot, configured it and had all my software downloaded WITHIN 7 MINUTES OF UNWRAPPING THE BOX. I was productive almost instantly. Mac Rocks.
