I understood that Walt loved her, but that show has such fully-realized nuanced characters that I hated her like she was a real person from pretty much go. Other than making him smiley face breakfast, she was mostly a jerk. I didn't like the emasculating way she treated him. I so LOVED when he was like "I am the danger". That really reversed the box she had tried to put him in.
