I've been saying this for 15 years now --- we as a society, not just this industry but everyone, the movie biz, everyone who enjoys seeing films, etc, we all have to keep a close eye on the censorship movement at all times. Because left unchecked there are people in the world who would hack, dub, and slash everything they personally feel is 'questionable. Songs, movies, porn (especially porn), and now we're seeing that that includes even your right as an adult to view it.
We saw it rear it's ugly head just a few years ago when CRT, the governing body for Canadian radio and tv standards, banned the playing of "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits because of the word 'faggot' in the lyrics. That ban was instigated by ONE complaint, from a guy in Newfoundland if I recall correctly.
Turn a blind eye and they'll eventually come for your sites and content too. Think it can't happen?
