We are not talking hot people at a gym - which has zero impact on sales and getting people in the door, selling personal training and memberships and so on. You are really missing what I am saying about the signs. They do it because IT WORKS BEST. Not because "it works to some degree". Simplicity. Clearly addressing a want. Clarity. Urgency. An LA Fitness that has a monthly revenue goal of $300,000.00 they struggle to meet just to break even or people get fired, isn't just doing random shit. They are doing exactly what works best. Simple hand made signs and simple flyers.
And right... all ads work to some degree. You might get 1 phone call per 1000 flyers. You might get zero calls. You might get 100. Depends on exactly how good you are at it. ;) I don't sit around thinking i'm awesome or throw up my arms with the logic that "all ads work to some degree" and leave it up to God. I measure. I test. I tweak. I measure more. I test more etc. I know exactly what works best.
