You can disagree, but it doesn't change the numbers and it doesn't change the date.

It's 2013, not 2003.

No generic adult name, even a good one like this is worth anything close to what it was 10 years ago.

That's just because the conversion ratio as you know, has skyrocketed. What was maybe 1-30 is now 1-5,000.

Look at the traffic on the Sedo.com page for livexxx.com. It got 1,654 uniqe hits last month. It's quite probable with amount traffic, he would get no sign ups with any type of program, no matter how targeted the domain name is.

That's why he has it going to a parked page. At least he's getting a few dollars, and it is unfortunately a few, as adult parking gets you may 1 to 3 cents per hit.

Not only has the conversion ratio gone to the outer limits, but the number of people who would type in livexxx.com into their browser would have also gone down significantly from 10 years ago, as people didn't have all the tubes to go to. So instead of typing livexxx.com into their browser, they just do xhamster.com

It's a great name and it can be promoted, but you can promote any crazy name to get traffic if you want, you don't need a good generic name for branding.

Yeah, I saw camshow.com go for $52,000 yesterday. Totally crazy unless you have money to burn and just want a nice name no matter what it cost. Either a well established cam program that doesn't care what they spend, or a new guy who he is just hoping somehow to hit it big.

The name itself without a lot spent on promotion will earn very little.
