i think you are only reading the parts you want to read..
Most of us have pretty much said that while it is not a scam, it most definitely is a bad business practice. He earned that money, he should be paid..

That argument not only holds no water, but it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever..
He asked to have his account
closed, by the pure definition of that his account would be deleted. If he accidentally missed a few links and sends them sales then that is his fault, not to mention if his account was deleted, he would not have access to those stats. Once the account is closed he would have no claim to referred sales.
