Any 'SEO Pro' worth their salt is going to tell you to not try and game Google. Do you think Google doesn't know that people try this? Do you think Google doesn't know how to make sure shit like this doesn't make your site rank well? It's been done before, it has been taken care of. Make a network of 8 sites and sign them up to a few directories. Don't risk a lot of hard work on a linking system that is going to just fuck you in the ass in the long run.
You might not like to hear it, but what you want to do is a bad idea, and it isn't going to make you money. Especially not with 8 blogs.
