For a lot of you this will be old hat, but there are some good points.

You should look and and improve you sites as often a you can to keep in step with the new google algo.
With Google's Panda / Penguin along with their screwy unpredictable algorithms that haven't been stable for over a year, I don't think anything will make a positive difference with Google at this point.
