heh, had this exact same issue no more than 3 weeks ago. If you text each other, and the texts get/are dirty (not sure if the dynamics are there or not for you), just drop some hints in the texts, or in some conversation - there's almost always an opening to drop hints as to the kind of stuff you like, the hard bit is doing it 'politely' as you say, rather than possibly upsetting her because she's hairy now.
After all, all women are fucking nuts to us (and vice-versa obviously), so you do have to tread a bit carefully unless you're a knuckle-dragging jerk off who thinks women are 'bitches' etc.
I wouldn't ask straight out for 2 reasons: 1. the possibility she'll take it the wrong way and even if she doesn't show it, be upset; 2. it's way too early to have 'grown ups' type conversations - right now it should be all about the fun/sex, light hearted convos not 'seriuz bidness' ones.
Then again wtf do I know, the bird I'm referring to of a few weeks back was a nut, and I had to unfriend/block her on fb, and ignore all texts '_'
