Here are a few achievement scores from her school:
Thirty-nine percent of the students score basic for reading, and 38 percent score below basic. In math, 37 percent score basic, and 50 percent score below basic. How in the world will she and most of her classmates find anything but the most meager of jobs? How can any reason for this level of underachievement be justified? How can her community stand having their children's futures become so limited?
Pathetic, disgusting and worth protesting about at least as much as a courtroom verdict.

First of all the chick is an
immigrant to America that grew up speaking only Spanish and Creole. English is her third language.
Second : the school disctrict allocates the money for teachers and schools.
The verdict from the school board on money and who gets it comes out of the same jury pool as this trial.
Go figure why it sucks.
