Blackmonster, not really funny. This is a 19 year old junior in high school. She will be 20 when she graduates. What the hell kind of education system is she part of ???
Here are a few achievement scores from her school:
Thirty-nine percent of the students score basic for reading, and 38 percent score below basic. In math, 37 percent score basic, and 50 percent score below basic. Below basic is the score when a student is unable to demonstrate even partial mastery of knowledge and skills fundamental for proficient work at his grade level. Basic indicates only partial mastery.
How in the world will she and most of her classmates find anything but the most meager of jobs? How can any reason for this level of underachievement be justified? How can her community stand having their children's futures become so limited?
Pathetic, disgusting and worth protesting about at least as much as a courtroom verdict.
