Que?

Trying to view mpg files streaming from my site.

Worked fine in Win98 and WMP 7.1

So i got XP instead with WMP 9 kind of installed with force.

And now it says it cant get the file whether i try to launch automatically with a http link from the site or copy and paste the url directly in prelaunced Media player.

Uninstalling WMP 9 has been unsuccessful to say the least. more or less impossible if i have understood it right.

Installing 7.1 over is nogo.

Is there a security setting ...?

Or do i have to ditch XP and reinstall 98?
