If your employer used to pay you $50 an hour but now suddenly only pays you $5 an hour for the same job would you say the same thing? I think it's all about getting the most return for your time and other investments. If you can do better elsewhere and there aren't other factors such as enjoyment why would you stick around? I think this is what many are faced with.
