Self defense has always been that way. Following somebody isn't starting a "confrontation".
If someone jumps on a guy who has a gun...good chance they will get shot. That's always been the case. I thought anybody with half a brain and some survival instinct knows that.
That's why it's best NOT to start swinging on someone.
