i respect the amish....they are good people.
but....times are changing....the youth are growing up differently. some are leaving...and others have decided they dont want to live that lifestyle anymore.
just last year i think there was a big drug bust here where a couple amish kids were arrested for trafficing kilos of cocaine.

it's been a long time since i've been out to pa.
so how did they get to the point that they drive cars and stuff? last time i was out there, driving cars and stuff was way out of question.

i'd not disagree with you saying they're good people. i have nothing against them. just, living in the past like that just perplexes me. then again, i wasn't raised that way
