I did that one to see for myself, had the same results. Stopped using the microwave after that.

The birds here do. Our pain in the ass neighbor tosses out all sorts of odd bits every day on the street and pigeons swarm about, gobbling up all of it. I keep telling the guy some of it may be harmful to them, but he says he's been feeding them all his life and I didn't know what I was talking about. The guy is in his 80s and 100s of pigeons show up every day to dine, so I don't have much ammo after that other than yapping him over the amount of bird shit in front of my house, on the bike, on the gate, and so on.
