Thursday and Friday carnage report as of tonight:

10 murdered (1 knife death)

34 wounded (shootings)

There are probably numerous stabbings.

My proposed long term solution is for Chicago to offer a cash payment to any woman on welfare that goes in for a free abortion. This payment would be framed out as welfare money to cover medical care leading up to the abortion, but there wouldn't be anyone looking to see how it get gets spent. So essentially a cash for your fetus program similar to gift cards for guns.
