Type-in traffic is the Holy Grail of prospective subscribers, and unfortunately it's the one thing affiliates typically don't get credit for. Which is why affiliates should have links all over the place - not just on their obvious banners & ads, but all in the text, wherever possible. Get the surfer locked with your code before they head up to the address bar and type that domain themselves.
I do better than 1:500 with DeltaofVenus.com without any trouble, but type-ins are a factor for sure.
