You didn't get it again. I said that the education level of KS and NY is different. So the majority in these states will probably vote for different candidates. Your system turns the majority into 100% of votes and simple "forgets" about the minority which could have a serious %. This is why the indirect (you call "electoral college") voting system sucks a big time and does not represent the real situation.
