i've been following google for few years now
whenever a search term stopped showing adult results, search volumes tank over time.
THey never go away but they go down quiet a bit.
Now that traffic goes somewhere. Users either try new search terms or they go to bing.
Bing's traffic has been growing ever since they became adult friendly.
I believe on the backs of adult searches bing is picking up tiny bits of market share from google
