Well I guess the principal factor is yourself...
If you stay in your corner and don't talk to people and introduce yourself, stating what you have to offer or what you are looking for, there is good chance you'll end up sitting on your back home flight empty handed
Remember this : people are shy by nature, if you approach them, they will be more than happy that you're offering them the opportunity to tell you what they do (offer or need). It is IMPOSSIBLE that there no match whatsoever during a whole event...

I've been carrying 'my door' to almost all the shows in the circuit, even the smallest ones... I ALWAYS came back home with new business, contacts and opportunity that I would never had otherwise.
