At least he wasn't injured! I'm glad to hear he turned out in better shape than his car. I hope he doesn't feel too bad for the deer. I cried for over an hour once when I hit a huge frog. Of course, I was pregnant at the time and I kept thinking "that poor frog might have been about to lay eggs!" LOL
Is the deer in the freezer, yet? I sure could go for some venison cubes rolled in a flour/pepper/sage mixture and fried. Mmmm....
(edit) BBQ is good, too, but you should really try cutting some venison steak into cubes and frying them like I described. The sage is SO perfect with venison.
