Ever tried NeverWet

Rust-Oleum?s magical, superhydrophobic coating that makes everything from electronics to clothing impervious to liquid is now available at Home Depot for $20.

Ok, but how bio-degradable are NeverWet-soaked items? If someone throws away a pair of soaked working gloves in the forest; how long before those gloves are broken down, compared to un-soaked gloves?

If I soak an apple in NeverWet, do I create a virtually non-degradable fruit?
