I usually give them a list of some of my feeder domains and ask them for their expert appraisal using a form letter I've written.
I figure if they want to spam me, the least they could do is also visit a bunch of my sites organically to provide a visit with a high time on site, number of pages viewed and zero bounce rate while they do their 'research' ;)
