I don't think this really exists anymore. Back in the glory days all the boards had a steady stream of newbs wanting to get rich off porn, but would hem & haw about plunking down $20 for a domain and hosting because they were idiots & also broke. And so they were all over the free blogs & hosts despite all the drawbacks and the fact that it's just a bad approach.
But those guys are no longer around because porn's not seen as a quick money-maker. Those of us who use Tumblr are doing it for other reasons than because it's
free (in fact if they offered some kind of content producer account most of would probably pay), and we have our own blogs/sites too of course.
So IMO the idea of the wannabe webmaster using free hosts because he doesn't have $50 laying around to start a business is long gone, let alone anyone who's a "veteran" as you say.
But... then I look at the sites still hosted on pornblogspace and think maybe I'm wrong on that score. Everything I clicked on there was utter & complete garbage spam though.
