I'm in the same boat. I watched all, what is it, 86 episodes? 90? I forget, but I watched them last year consecutively start to finish, and definitely feel like I lost someone I know. One can only imagine what his son feels like right now, having been on vacation with him when it happened.
Plus I'm just a year younger than the guy. It hits home.
I think I'll stop by the doc's next week and get my BP checked. :D
