People did vote for change. I supported Bush on a large number of issues. Iraq, 9/11, Afghanistan.... But at the end Bush destroyed our economy. It doesn't matter what role he played in it, he was in the White House and he gets the blame. When people "voted for a change" what that really means is "anything other than a Republican".
I think the Republican party got the majority of the blame for the economy, for better or worse, and putting up McCain and then Romney was bad decisions. In the mean time, the Republican party has been nothing but jerks since then. There is no unity. At all.
I wonder where this is going. Who will the Democrats run - Hillary? Oh god no. And who will stand up for the Republicans? Might be fun.
