Oh I hate her too
I just felt that entire story line in the second film was pointless because for half the film you're trying to figure out who this uglier Katie Holmes character is, so by the time the film reaches it's conclusion it could never have had the same impact it would have had if Katie Holmes was playing her role in the film.
Personally I just would have cut that entire story line out of the film to avoid that nonsense!
Of coarse that could never have worked because I'm sure the Nolan brothers would have spent years writing the film and then after they found out Katie Holmes couldn't reprise her role as Rachel Dawes
