---and there's the big problem with the pitbull breed. Most of the time they're owned by either a macho douche rocket or an illiterate idiot who has no idea of the how bad that situation could have turned out. Granted, Pitbulls already have a little something to make them dangerous, but something about that breed draws those idiots that can't really give the dog a chance to be a good dog.
She shouldn't have ran from them, because even a Lab can smell fear and act like that -- but everyone can't be expected to know that. Dogs needs to be owned by responsible people, not retards. You should need a license, just like having a gun(with a rigorous personality and background check), especially for the pitbull breed.
