It is also said that something like 96% - 98% of all the prostitution in Thailand is for Thai men only (these types of places), which will really fuck your mind up when you see how many prostitutes there are servicing foreigners.

A "fish tank" or "fish bowl" is where girls sit on the other side of the glass, all wear a number. It's like you are looking into a fish bowl, hence the name.
