Dunno, on 1 acre you can still see your neighbours house. At least 2 and closer to 4, some of it forested would be ideal for me. Nice size house with a nice area of land around it. Play your music as loud as you please, skinny dip in the pool, let the kids run around without fear that they are gonna get run over...it has to be the way to go.
