When I was in high school there was a similar situation that happened with one of he students only the roles were different. This girl's mom started dating an 18-year old guy when this girl was about 4 or 5. He lived with them for 10 or 11 years then started banging the daughter on the side. The mom found out when the daughter got pregnant. The mom dumped him and the daughter ended up marrying him.

Of course, in typical white trash fashion shortly after the baby was born (she was still in high school) he ended up doing something and got thrown in jail for a few years so the daughter ended up moving back in with her mom so she could help take care of the baby.
