As long as it's true then it's a good excuse for not paying on female leads.
I don't know what him giving his account info would prove. Assuming you guys are honest maybe it would clear up a misunderstanding but if you aren't honest then there is no way it can turn out good for him. It's not like a dishonest company would ever admit to it and publicly apologize.
Historically usually what companies do is they try to sue or they threaten the person in some way in order to silence them.
All I can say is that if someone shaves webmasters or works for someone who does then I think they are shit. You can put a spin on it but I consider it to be FRAUD and it's stealing food off my family's table. There is no excuse for it and I honestly hope such people end up in prison. And if I ever get the chance to help make that happen I will bend over backwards to do it.
