I accidentally poured about a half a beer into the keyboard of a brand new dell laptop.
Immediately shut it off, turned it upside down and shook it out a little. Wiped it down with a dry towel and 20 minutes later, turned it back on. Worked fine.
The keys still stick sometimes after 2 years.
Guess i got lucky.
