I wasn't saying it's never the goalie's fault. All I was saying was if you don't want to get scored on then try not letting the other team have so many opportunities to shoot. No matter how good your goaltender is if you're letting your opponent swarm around your net all the time the puck is bound to go in at some point.
Sure he made some poor plays and bad decisions, but most of it wouldn't have been an issue had his players in front of him played better D and thus kept the Islanders away from scoring chances.
